Where Childhood Grows Outdoors!
MAKE IT A SUMMER ON THE FARM
Summer at Honey Bee Gardens Farm is about giving kids the space to explore, wonder, and truly be kids.
Our youth programs are rooted in time spent outside — caring for animals, digging in the dirt, splashing in the creek, and discovering the rhythms of farm life alongside new friends.
Here, learning happens naturally through play, curiosity, and hands-on experience.
From sunflower field scavenger hunts to creating with natural materials, every day brings a new kind of adventure. Whether your child is an eager explorer, an animal lover, or simply happiest outdoors, they’ll find room to roam, imagine, and grow at their own pace.
👣 Run wild. Get messy. Make memories.
(That’s what summer should be all about!)

Stay Connected to Life on the Farm

Little Sprouts
Ages: 4-6
Little Sprouts is a calm, playful introduction to farm life designed especially for our youngest explorers.
Through guided outdoor play, animal care, simple gardening, stories, and hands-on activities, children are encouraged to follow their curiosity while building confidence in a nurturing, nature-rich environment.
Days move at a child-friendly pace, with plenty of room for wonder, movement, and imagination.
At this age, learning looks like digging in the dirt, meeting animals up close, making new friends, and discovering the world through all five senses.
Little Sprouts offers a gentle first step into independence — helping children feel capable, connected, and at home on the farm.

Art
Camp
Ages: 4-6 & 7-12
Art Camp at Honey Bee Gardens Farm is a hands-on, nature-inspired week of creativity where kids get to explore, experiment, and make art they’ll be proud to take home.
Campers will work with fun, unique materials like sheep’s wool to create textured fiber art, design their own Garden Garland using beads and upcycled cans, and learn how to turn the outdoors into their canvas with leaf prints and sun print paper.
We’ll also spend time observing the farm’s animals and creating animal-inspired artwork through sketching, coloring, and creative expression.
This camp is perfect for kids who love to make things, get a little messy, and let their imagination run wild—all in the peaceful, inspiring setting of the farm.

Wilderness
Explorers
Ages: 7-12
Wilderness Explorers invites kids to step beyond the barn and into the wilder edges of the farm.
Designed for curious, energetic learners, this program blends outdoor adventure with hands-on discovery — from creek exploration and nature challenges to animal care, building, and problem-solving as a team.
Kids are encouraged to take healthy risks, ask big questions, and learn by doing in an environment that’s both supportive and exciting.
As children grow, so does their independence. Wilderness Explorers helps them build confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection to the natural world — all while forming friendships and creating the kind of memories that only come from time spent outside, fully engaged.

STEM Camp
Ages: 7-12
Get ready for a week of discovery, hands-on experiments, and outdoor science fun! Our STEM Camp at Honey Bee Gardens Farm is designed for curious kids ages 7–12 who love asking questions, exploring nature, and learning by doing.
From studying the frog and butterfly life cycles, to exploring what animals eat through owl pellet investigations, kids will get to learn in a way that feels exciting, messy (in the best way), and unforgettable.
If your child loves animals, nature, and discovering how the world works, this camp is the perfect fit.
Come learn, explore, and grow—STEM style, on the farm.

The Hive
Ages: 9-13
The Hive is a place for older kids and teens to gather, connect, and grow in a meaningful way.
Designed for ages 9 to 13, this program offers a balance of responsibility, creativity, and reflection through hands-on farm work, collaborative projects, and guided conversation.
Participants take on real roles — caring for animals, working alongside mentors, and contributing to the life of the farm — while developing confidence, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging.
At this stage, kids are looking for purpose as much as play. The Hive provides space to slow down, be themselves, and engage with the world thoughtfully — building skills, relationships, and self-awareness that carry well beyond the farm.
